Mordecai was a type of Christ.
Mordecai was a quiet man who served the king without seeking glory for it. He aroused great jealousy in Haman, one of the king’s favored regents. Haman sought to destroy Mordecai. He created a place of destruction for Mordecai and a place of honor for himself. In a turn of events from God, Mordecai was given that place of honor and Haman was sent to that place of destruction.
Jesus was a quiet man who served His Father without seeking any glory for Himself. He aroused great jealousy in Satan, one of God’s leading angels. Satan sought to destroy the Son of God. He created a place of destruction for Jesus and a place of honor for himself. In a turn of events from God, Satan was cast down from heaven and consigned to the lower places of the earth while Jesus was raised from the dead to sit above all angels.
Blessed be Jesus our Mordecai!
The purpose of this blog is to praise Jesus Christ in biblical terms.
