If all you know of Jesus’ life is the rough outline, it’s still pretty impressive. With the power of the Holy Spirit, He went about doing good things for people, healing those who were oppressed by the devil. (Acts 10:38)
As you listen more to His words, you recognize that you have never heard a human being speak the way that He spoke (John 7:46).
A Roman centurion, having seen the abuse that Jesus had taken through His crucifixion, exclaimed as Jesus breathed His last that he had never been so impressed by anyone in his entire life. (Mark 15:39)
Reading His words in the Bible for yourself allows you to come to your own conviction – that is, your own faith – that He is indeed the Savior of the world, and the God of all creation. (John 4:39-42; John 1:1)
The purpose of this blog is to praise Jesus Christ in terms familiar to those who read the Bible. For a list of verses relevant to this post, see this post on related blog.
